Task 1: Feeling
Paradise in the Parking lot
Going to Kringlan is a mission for most people. It’s solely between the individual and the purchase, nothing more. Middle class cars parked everywhere, people walking on terrazzo floors, in and out. Making the trip as efficient as possible. Daydreaming, planning, searching and finding. It’s easy to feel alone in the crowd. When do we pay attention to our surroundings? Are we missing something?
There is man made nature all around. But for who are the trees in the parking lot if they go unnoticed? If there are plastic trees inside buildings for people, what about outside? Are the trees for cars?
Is something worth taking care of if it is so unflattering and inaccessible that nobody enjoys it?
Can a paradise exist in the middle of a parking lot?
