Urban Nature

On the thresholds of the valley
The water shows it‘s strength
In the city we walk through a alley
And the car travels a great length

The fisherman in the valley, scans the river
While the bridge above, tends to shiver
The concrete dam creates electricity
So humans can create and enjoy the city

A retired electric station
Placed in a great location
Where people walk the paths
To get home in to their hot baths

A big, green spot
Where salmon is caught
Surrounded by concrete
That is always incomplete

The sound of the pavement
Is the city’s statement
The unpleasent sound of traffic
Makes this green spot panic
